is seeking a day shift Surgical Technologist for a beautiful community hospital just outside of Columbus, Ohio! Will consider uncertified if 3+ years of experience or certified with 1+ year.
Pay:
$21.00 - $31.00 hourly base, plus shift differentials
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7a - 3:30p with call once per week, and every 4th weekend call. Must be within 30-minute radius when on-call.
Surgical Technologist / CST Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Prepares and knows the specific uses of equipment, instrumentation, and supplies used for surgical procedures
Gather, check, and prepare supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures
Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity, and innovative
Ability to identify and calmly handle an inherently stressful situation with tact
Maintain the highest standard of sterile technique during the procedure(s)
Ability to be flexible and take on new responsibilities
Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of surgery experience if uncertified or graduate of an accredited surgical technology program preferred.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
