Job Description AECOM - Hunt is hiring a Project Accountant to work on a large joint-venture aviation project in Chicago, Illinois. This is an on-site position and will be a great opportunity to become part of the growing Hunt Construction Group!Job Summary:Provides project-specific accounting support in accordance with client agreements and internal policies and procedures. Partners with job site personnel on contract matters, subcontractor invoicing, and owner billings.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Process subcontractor invoices and monitors compliance with contract requirements including but not limited to insurance, bond, and waiver documentation.Oversee client billing review meetings and submission of owner bills.Completes monthly internal accounting reconciliation assignments and is a liaison to the AECOM Hunt Finance team for project specific matters.Partners with the project team to manage contract budgets and cost forecasts while identifying risks and opportunities affecting the profitability of the project.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:BA/BS + 6 years of relevant project accounting experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Qualification:Construction project accounting experience.Advanced Excel experience.
