Facility: Administrative Regional Training CntrShift: Shift 1Status: Full Time FTE: 1.000000Bargaining Unit: ACE AssociatesExempt from Overtime: Exempt: YesWork Schedule: DaysHours: M-F 8am-4pmSummary:The Director, HRIS is responsible for partnering with Site HR Directors, all other HR personnel and their customers to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological HR systems capabilities. This position is responsible for building project plans, ensuring adherence to project schedules, maintaining a systems orientation and working effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning, including an HRIS technology roadmap. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Director, HRIS also supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned. The Director, HRIS would also be responsible for developing tracking and audit procedures for any outside consultants working with HRIS systems and overseeing the documentation of any instructional guides for systems that interact with HRIS.Responsibilities:EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resource or related field requiredMaster's degree in human resource management, MIS, computer science or related degree preferredEXPERIENCEA minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant HRIS related work experienceA minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of project management experience strongly preferredExperience in a key project role assigned to a HRIS implementation project strongly preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITYExcellent understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases toolsSolid understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit proceduresDirect work experience with Lawson HRIS strongly preferred; comparable experience with PeopleSoft, SAP, ADP EV2 HRIS acceptableStrong knowledge of data privacy rules and data security protocolsExcellent knowledge and experience with KRONOS and DDI automated Time and Attendance SystemsStrong managerial experience focused on problem solving, planning, policy and procedure developmentThorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint software applicationsExcellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skillsKnowledge of organizational development, change management and quality principlesKnowledge of data privacy rulesKnowledge of data security protocolsExperience implementing HR technologies in a cloud or SaaS environmentExperience assessing IT riskGeneral knowledge of HR processesWORKING CONDITIONS:Working with computer, sitting extensively and key boarding data entry activity
