Key Responsibilities:
Oversee environmental control in the surgical services department
Ensure staffing with clinically competent personnel
Manage administrative duties related to patient care
Coordinate patient care activities with other departments
Analyze and enhance the quality of nursing services
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Current nursing license in Ohio
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s degree preferred)
5+ years of recent acute care experience, including 2 years in Surgery
5 years of management and/or progressive leadership responsibilities
Experience/training in teaching is desirable
Interest in professional nursing organizations
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Effective organizational skills
