Jr./ Mid Data Scientist Virginia with Security Clearance

This is a full-time position, and MUST HAVE a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance. 2HB Incorporated is seeking a Jr./Mid Data Scientist in order to support its government customer in Reston, VA. This position is geared towards a junior/mid level candidate and has a minimum of one (1) year of on-the-job experience with the required skills.Successful candidates will have background/experiences that align with:Testing/evaluating algorithms/toolsAbility to customize, optimize, and integrate those tools with a platform/portalExperience working with machine learning models, optimizing models, and evaluating modelsExperience dealing with models that were developed and need to be configured to work with the data, optimized to work on US Government's systems efficiently or implemented in larger toolsREQUIRED SKILLS:Python, PyTorchFlask (knowledge at minimum with ability to quickly pick up)Familiarity with REST APIs (at minimum)Statistics background/experienceBasic understanding of NLPNICE TO HAVE:Experience developing and deploying testing and verification methodologies to evaluate algorithm performance and identify strategies for improvement or optimizationExperience performing research or development with natural language processing and working with, deploying, and testing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), large-language models (LLMs), or foundational modelsExperience deploying machine learning models on multimedia data, to include joint text, audio, video, hardware, and peripheralsExperience with Linux System Administration and associated scripting languages (bash)Experience with Android configuration, software development, and interfacingExperience in embedded systems (Raspberry Pi)
