What You'll do:
Serve as a subject matter expert on the talent market, supply and demand in different geographic areas, with niche technical skillsets and clearance requirements and apply dynamic recruitment strategies based on business need.Source and prescreen candidates, participate in interviews, develop competitive job offers and track candidates in the applicant tracking system.Develop innovative ways to source candidates and grow sustainable talent pipelines for highly technical roles.Maintain a strong network of industry contacts for potential sourcing and hiring teaming for hard to fill requisitions and in order to meet quick turnaround strategic hires.Develop a network to ensure constant flow of qualified candidates using web-based tools, social media, virtual events and other creative ways.Proactively communicate with internal executives, program partners, leaders, and teammates across divisions with a focus on solutions and impact.Collaborate with management to develop job specifications, make salary recommendations, negotiate starting salary with candidates and own the care and feeding of the onboarding process.Partner with hiring managers to create and review employment requisitions and develop staffing plans.Communicate and align with program manager and hiring manager on the status of requisitions, candidate quality and candidate pipeline, final decisions and urgency/priority of hire.Maintain contact with hard-to-find skilled candidates using various communication techniques to keep the candidates engaged.Create and foster relationships with colleagues and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit critical skilled candidates, diverse applicants, partner with niche agencies to create a diverse and active sourcing pool.Participate/lead recruitment activities from staffing plan creation to onboarding of new hires.Required Qualifications:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (U.S. Citizen is preferred).Bachelor’s degree preferred.Possess exceptional executive management presence with the ability to manage through ambiguity and define the appropriate hiring and onboarding process, depending on the contract, skillset and type of hire.Requires 10+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience with at least 5 years recruiting in a federal government contracting environment.Advanced knowledge of EEO and OFCCP requirements.Must be self-driven and work effectively and independently using a variety of vehicles and creative sourcing techniques to generate candidate flow in a fast-paced, fluid environment.Results driven and metrics-oriented individual with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Successfully navigates in a fast-paced, nimble environment and possesses an aptitude for problem solving and independent thinking.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; SharePoint.Must be local to the DC Metro area and willing to come on-site 2 days a week.Preferred Skills:
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting to include pivot tables.Experience with Workday Recruiting.Experience leading small teams.Skills:
