Basic Job Functions
The D365 Lead DevOps Engineer is responsible for leading the efforts in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations, with a focus on environment management, release pipelines, ADO, automation, and data. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of Agile software development methodologies, Azure DevOps, software development and deployment skills. The Lead DevOps Engineer will coach/mentor other teammates with DevOps best practices, automation, continuous integration and delivery. The Lead DevOps Engineer will follow fundamental architectural concepts and requirements to ensure that Microsoft D365 and data sources are appropriately integrated. Additionally, the Lead DevOps Engineer will coordinate with various product groups, consultants, and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Equivalent combination of experience and education will also be considered.6+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud automation and scripting in Azure, managing D365 environments in Azure.3+ years experience deploying and managing D365 F&O environments.Experience with tools for Continuous Integration/Delivery, Version Control, and Build Automation.Experience in Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Visual Studio and, release management using a source control repository such as TFS or GitHub.Experience with programming languages such as .NET C#, PHP, Python, Java, Java Script, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, or similar.Direct experience in two full life-cycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O project.Demonstrated knowledge of environment testing methodologies.Able to work independently and as a team member and mentor other teammates as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Terraform or similar infrastructure automation tools.Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics F&O architecture, modules, and functionality.Familiarity with SQL Server, SSRS, and data migration/integration tools (e.g., Data Entity, DMF, and Logic Apps).Prior experience with Manufacturing or Distribution industry verticals preferred.Strong business analysis skills with great attention to detail.Experience in Power platform or PowerApps is preferred.Ability to build productive relationships and influence all levels of the organization towards alternative ways of looking at a business situation/solution.Experience or knowledge of developing reports or apps using tools like Power BI, and Power Platform.Excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency with MS Office suite.
