The Legal Recruiting Coordinator will support the Legal Recruiting Department with aspects of attorney recruitment and hiring, including on-campus recruitment and the summer associate program.Client DetailsA highly reputable and desirable elite global law firm based in Washington DC.DescriptionTypical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Liaise with law schools on aspects of recruitment, including registration for on-campus interviews and job fairs.Coordinate recruitment events, and also attend and track specific recruitment events.Schedule applicants for callback interviews, and track school-specific offers.Greet applicants upon arrival, provide office tours and escort applicants to interviews.Prepare and track summer associate evaluations.Assist in managing the summer associate program including tracking, calendaring and monitoring summer events; preparing orientation schedules; working with summer coordinators regarding summer assignments; preparing summer associate mid and end of summer reviews; preparing and summarizing summer survey.Prepare law school surveys and feedback forms.Assist with law school presentations and programs.Manage and process recruiting expenses and budget.Additional projects as assigned by the department Chief and Managers.Attend NALP- and WALRAA-sponsored programs.ProfileSelf-motivated, proactive, positive, team player.At least 1+ years minimum experience in a similar legal role, DE&I, Professional Development or Legal Recruiting.Punctual, reliable, and flexible to work long hours as needed.Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with attorneys and staff.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills, and a meticulous attention to detail including the ability to proofread for typographical, spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors.Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a time-sensitive environment while maintaining the highest standards of work quality.Good judgment and professional maturity including the ability to manage confidential information with the utmost discretion.Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other applications as needed.Experience with viDesktop is a plus.Job OfferHighly desirable hourly rate.Overtime eligible position.True temp to perm based on performance.Hybrid role: 4 days in office with Fridays as a work from home day.Monday - Friday 9:30 - 5:30pm.Extensive room for growth and longevity.Prestigious law firm, with a highly collaborative team.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
