NEW Medical Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Scientist OR MLT Opening at a large laboratory that provides comprehensive anatomic, clinical and molecular pathology services. This laboratory specializes in hematology, oncology, dermatology, urology, gynecology, non-gyn cytopathology, neuropathology, and forensic medicine. This laboratory is fully certified by the state of Tennessee, College of American Pathologists (CAP), and the Joint Commission as well as the Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA).
This laboratory is looking to add a permanent and full-time Medical Technologist | Medical Laboratory Technician to their Chemistry Department (there are also openings in Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular, and other departments!). The Medical Technologist | MLT will be responsible for day-to-day specimen processing, analysis, and results reporting in their respective department.
For consideration, applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology (or related field) or an Associate's Degree in addition to a Medical Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Technician Certification through ASCP (or equivalent). Applicants MUST have or be willing to obtain a Tennessee State License.
