Barnabas Health Medical Group, 770 Lighthouse Drive, Barnegat, NJ 08005Job Overview:Ocean Heart and Vascular is looking to add a qualified full-time Cardio Vascular Tech in Barnegat, NJ. The Cardio Vascular Tech will operate and assess monitoring of patients in the Cardiac Lab.Qualifications:Required:High School Diploma.Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program.Preferred:Minimum of 6 months clinical experience preferred but not required.Certifications and Licenses Required:Current RCIS certification or RAD license.Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.Certified/Licensed CVT or RT in NJ.Scheduling Requirements:Day Shift, 40 hours/weekFull Time ScheduleEssential Functions:Administer individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of cardiac catherization lab procedures.Assumes responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures.Assists MD with Cath/PCI, peripheral, structural heart (Mitraclip, Watchman), EP cases, and neuro.Adheres to on-call policy requirements.Executes special assignment with the lab.Participates in quality improvement programs and inventory control.Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.Other Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
