Job Description SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst role is primarily responsible for:
Perform month-end close and related reporting requirementsAnalyze monthly variances and prepare summary reports for management presentationsLead/Collaborate across business functions on annual budget preparation, standard setting, and forecastingPerform ad hoc reporting on a periodic basis as requestedDevelop operating procedures/systems to improve financial and management reporting as requiredAssist with financial modeling for various investment proposalsAssist with ensuring compliance with corporate financial policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirementsLeverage financial dashboard productivity metrics to aid and influence plant leadership decisions to optimize the financial health of the plant

Qualifications And RequirementsBachelor degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience to include, but not limited to financial reporting, month-end duties, forecasting, and annual reports.Proficiency in ExcelAbility to lead, coordinate and track multiple ongoing projectsCPA / CMA preferred (or working toward designation)JDE/SAP experience a plusSelf-Starter, ability to thrive in complex situationsAbility to translate complex financial data into actionable objectives across business functions
Work Environment / TravelThis Senior Financial Analyst role will support the Irvine, CA facilityHybrid role between home and office based out of our BD Warwick, RI locationTravel limited to 1-2 times/year for site visits
