You will collaborate with product management, architects, and engineers to drive successful outcomes with focus on people, quality, and best practices.A Day in the Life of the Software Engineer I - About the role:This role of the Front End /UI Engineer will be to develop responsive, user-friendly, complex front-end applications and components. Some key responsibilities include:Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge exchange with colleaguesCollaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, back-end engineers and data scientists to build effective solutionsConduct research to solve problems and drive continuous technical improvementsContribute to technical documentationCreate unit and integration tests and assist the QA team in validation testingContribute to the AI platform to enable innovations in PROS productsResearch customer reported incidents, make necessary code changes to fix the issue, prepare a patch update, and deploy the new version of apps and microservicesLearn and keep up with new technologies and frameworksRequired Qualifications - About you:This position is the combination of the following achievements, skills, and behaviors:Knowledge of Web Application Development using HTML, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS.Knowledge of Web Services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, REST.OOP, design patterns and modern microservices architectureAlgorithmic complexity principles and knowledge of data structures time and space complexityStrong English, verbal & written communication skillsPreferred:Degree in Computer Science or related disciplineExperience in React developmentKnowledge of Docker and KubernetesWillingness to learn new technologiesExperience working with geographically diverse teamsExperience working with Salesforce CRM (plus)Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD productsWorking knowledge of Git, Jira, and ConfluenceSkills & Personal Characteristics:PassionOwnershipCareAbout PROS:PROS Holdings, Inc.
