The Trips team is a full-stack product team responsible for building delightful traveling products for Guests and Hosts. As soon as a guest makes a booking, our product ensures guests have a 5-star experience staying with Airbnb. This includes the Trips Tab where a guest can find their Reservation Details, manage co-travelers, get reminders for upcoming trips, and find interesting experiences. We also work on the Host product to ensure hosts can perform crucial tasks like responding to incoming reservation requests and managing reservations.Currently, the Trips team is seeking a strong Android engineer who can drive product projects, work cross-functionally with PMs, Designers, Data Scientists, and is passionate about owning and improving the foundation on which the products are built. We are a tightly knit team that thrives on trust and care for each other, allowing everyone to bring the best versions of themselves to work. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:Own key company-level problem statements such as improving Host Reservation Management.Work closely with cross-functional partners, such as PMs, Design, Data, and TPM.Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.Your Expertise:

6+ years of engineering experience with a BS/Masters or 2+ years with a PhD.Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience.Experience in building and scaling high-quality and high-traffic products or systems.Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions to solve real-world problems.Ability to drive alignment, manage projects, and effectively collaborate with stakeholders.Mentorship to junior developers.Your Location:This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with your manager. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.Pay Range:$185,000 — $223,000 USD
