Job Description

The AIG (Analytical Instruments Group) Clean Energy team is newly formed and supports the portfolio of the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD). We provide strategic direction, market intelligence, industry knowledge & workflow expertise, to deliver impactful cross-divisional market development, business development, and marketing initiatives that drive portfolio evolution, sales growth, and capture share in target segments of Battery, Hydrogen, and Solar segments.CAD business provides a broad mix of analytical instruments and services to a diverse range of end-user markets including Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Life Sciences, Medical, Energy, Spectroscopy and Minerals and Mining. Its instruments are deployed globally in the field and on the line, in results-oriented environments where customers put a premium on robustness, reliability and ease of use.The business operates within a global footprint with more than 4,000 colleagues, delivering product solutions to customers that allow for confident, on-the-spot decision-making. CAD is part of AIG and is comprised of three business units:Measurement Control and Sample IdentificationEnvironmental and Process MonitoringProduction Process and AnalyticsThe team is seeking a highly experienced and creative Senior Marketing Manager to join our newly formed team.

You will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing tactics and campaigns that effectively promote Clean Energy solutions. Your deep understanding of the Clean Energy industry and its key personas will enable you to craft compelling messaging and engage with customers.Location:

Remote - Europe or North America (upper 48 states); one position posted in multiple locations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own the development and deployment of cross-divisional marketing campaigns to build recognition, drive awareness, and stimulate demand. Build inspirational stories that showcase the value propositions of our portfolio.Manage campaign budgets: selecting agency and marketing channel partners to deliver campaigns with measurable returns on investment and value for money.Drive web and digital promotion efforts to engage with target audiences through various channels.Produce content, including white papers, web pages, articles, presentations, newsletters, emails, brochures, videos, and blog posts, to position our company as an industry leader and drive customer engagement.Develop and implement strategies to generate demand and marketing qualified leads.Expand our customer contact database through targeted marketing initiatives and lead-generation activities.Develop cohesive messaging and branding strategies that align with our overall company brand while addressing the needs and priorities of each vertical sub-segment.Define target personas for market requirements documents, product use cases, and campaigns to ensure our messaging resonates with the struggles of each persona.Develop clear and compelling messaging that optimally communicates the value of our products and solutions.As the team grows, the role may expand to include the management of junior marketing communications team members.Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related scientific or engineering field.5+ years' of proven experience in vertical marketing, with a track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns targeted at specific industries.Experience in marketing products or services to the battery, hydrogen, and/or solar industries.Experience in supervising and reporting on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to build compelling content that conveys sophisticated concepts.Creative thinking and the capability to develop innovative marketing campaigns that differentiate our offerings in the market.Strong project management aptitudes, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.Proficiency in applying various marketing tools and platforms, including web, digital, and content creation software.Creative and passionate marketeer with a strong background in delivering targeted marketing to engineers and scientists within energy transition segments, are invited to apply for this exciting opportunity.Desirable attributes
