PURPOSE OF THE JOBThe Plant Controller provides financial leadership to the manufacturing facility. The Plant Controller is expected to be a dynamic leader on the plant leadership team by contributing to all areas of plant management. The Plant Controller will be responsible for building and creating processes in all major areas of accountability, ensuring the environment complies with the Company's internal control policies and Sarbanes Oxley. This individual will also be responsible for leadership of non-financial plant administrative processes such as warehouse (Raw Materials and Finish Goods).

The position is an important part of the financial talent pipeline and serves as a feeder for larger plants as well as corporate roles (i.e. Mfg. Financial Leader, Segment Analyst, etc.).

Reports toThis position reports directly to the plant leader with strong reporting accountability for driving results to the segment financial leader.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Live the Safety Stand:

Practice safe work activities and lead the plant RIR to 0, participate in plant safety programs, monitor and hold self and others accountable for safety.

Operations Planning:

Participate in the development of operational objectives for the plant that are aligned to Corporate and Division Strategic Objectives, lead proactive development of contingency plans, productivity improvement and corrective actions.

Financial and Operational Controls:

Implement OC internal controls framework at site, ensure effective and efficient internal controls including data integrity, asset protection, segregation of duties, budgeting, financial reporting, and adherence to corporate policies.

Reporting and Analysis:

Create and manage financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, prepare and deliver plant financial forecasts and projects, communicate results effectively to management.

Driving Plant Profitability:

Lead actions to achieve targets, mitigate risk, and prioritize resource needs, provide insightful and competitive analytics.

Cross-functional leadership and team contribution:

Work across organization boundaries to achieve objectives, support plant events and lead teams.

Leading and developing talent:

Create an environment where talent is developed, act as a resource to non-financial leads, invest in growth and development of direct reports.

Leadership for the oversight and accountability of plant security:

Ensure successful completion of site security functions.

JOB REQUIREMENTSMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant discipline required. MBA, CMA, CPA preferred.

Five years of experience in a manufacturing operation.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Sage Financial Systems and SAP working experience and knowledge.

Providing leadership to organizations within manufacturing operations.

Negotiating, developing and evaluating customer and supplier contracts.
