Remote EDI/RPG Software Engineer

ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain software written in modern SQL/RPGLE, participate in code reviews, and assist with User Acceptance Testing as needed.Work with EDI transactions such as 810, 846, 850, 856, 861, 867, 870, 871, and 997.Work with end users and stakeholders across the enterprise to address new and changing business needs.Offer ideas and input on making the team more efficient, automating processes, increasing security, etc.Provide regular updates on the status of your work.Adhere to company standards for coding, documentation, testing, etc.Other responsibilities as business requires.Experience5+ years of EDI experience.Experience in software development in a professional setting using COBOL and/or RPG on the IBM iSeries platform and be interested in growing your skills to use cutting edge RPG.Familiarity with the software development life cycle.Plus skills include Cleo EEI/Cleo Clarify, Cleo Harmony, Extol, Web Services, Git, Aldon, Turnover, or others.Strong communication skills, both written and oral.Job ID: 23-00438
