This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.About The TeamThe FIS Securities Network connects institutional asset managers, hedge funds and broker-dealers to trading venues worldwide. The network supports multi-asset order routing in FIX and proprietary formats, trade execution, post-trade communication, analytics and reconciliation. FIS Securities Network also links to major third-party order-routing networks and delivers low-latency global market data.What You Will Be DoingDesigning, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements.Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.What You Will NeedExperience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations.7+ years' experience with backend development.Strong experience in C#, ASP.NET, OOP concepts, and multithreading.Strong SQL Skills (Microsoft SQL Server).A Bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience.Bonus if you haveKnowledge of: FIX Protocol, GIT, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, WebAPI, WCF.What We Offer YouA career at FIS is more than just a job. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
