This position is responsible for assisting with the development, production, and project management of internal and external printed materials to build brand awareness and customer interest; and under moderate direction, work on complex assignments requiring a solid level of creativity and customer-service orientation, with a high degree of flexibility, professional demeanor, and urgency while dealing with ambiguity and rapidly shifting deadlines. Responsible for the efficient internal flow of assigned print work throughout the department by maintaining project documentation records of workflow for all projects, including work order, job jacket, and traffic schedule.This is a remote role; candidates must work in one of the following five states: Illinois, Texas, Oklahoma, Montana, and New Mexico within 250 miles from one of our BCBS offices.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or related discipline and 3 years relevant experience as a Graphic Designer in a studio, agency, or corporation, OR 6 years applicable design, layout, and print production job experience.Experience with design in an agency or corporate environment.Ability to manage projects.Proficiency in software applications including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office.Proficiency with four-color printing and specialty printing.Ability to maintain quality while completing a high volume of work quickly. High level of organizational skill and attention to detail.Ability to meet tight deadlines.Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work in a team environment and have a “can-do” attitude.Portfolio required.PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:Professional experience with proposal design.Web and multimedia design experience.PC knowledge.LI - RemoteHCSC Employment Statement:
