Analyst, HR Payroll Tax and Finance . This role is pivotal in ensuring accuracy in payroll accounting, compliance with tax regulations, and effective financial analysis. We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of payroll processing, payroll accounting, payroll tax compliance finance principles, and a keen eye for detail to maintain the integrity of payroll and payroll accounting operations.HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Subject Matter Expert

– You must have an in-depth understanding of the Payroll Processing lifecycle, including timesheets, calculating wages, deductions, bonuses, and ensuring timely payment. Having an in-depth understanding of the account reconciliation process, and the ability to research and explain variances is essential. You will participate in financial analysis related to payroll accounting and recording payroll costs in the GL, all while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive payroll, tax, and financial information.Deliver Results

– You will develop solid reconciliation processes that support the successful execution of year-end reporting and employees’ W2 activities and partner with Payroll Tax and Compliance to ensure the successful completion of all W2 reconciliation activities. Collaboration with the finance team to understand the reconciliation of payroll data with general ledger entries and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will also be responsible for conducting reviews of payroll data to identify discrepancies and errors, and working collaboratively to resolve them in a timely manner.Compliance

– You will provide support as needed to ensure accuracy in all aspects of payroll tax. You must ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll tax laws and regulations. You will collaborate with the Corporate Tax Team as needed for annual Payroll Tax Data requests. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of staying abreast of Payroll Tax law changes to help ensure successful and accurate payroll tax compliance. Accuracy is a necessity as you respond to employee inquiries related to payroll taxes and deductions.YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of proven experience in payroll processing, payroll tax, and/or financeStrong knowledge of payroll and payroll tax regulationsProficiency with Ceridian Payroll or similar platforms, as well as Microsoft Excel for data analysisDetail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in data entry and calculationsExcellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlinesAnalytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex payroll and tax issues and exceptional communication skills to interact with employees, management, and external agenciesWhat’s Next
