SUMMARY : A large Houston organization is seeking an experienced ReactJS developer for a fully remote role for a 6-to-12-month contract with a strong option to be extended.
ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the IT team, you will be focused on creating, developing, maintaining, tuning, and modifying custom web applications utilized by internal employees and external customers.You will utilize your front-end expertise while working directly with end users on understanding their needs as well as working across the internal development team, collaborating with the lead architect, and interfacing with the back-end team as needed.Work with others to identify functional and technical needs and provide hands-on expertise in resolving technical issues and identifying coding solutions.Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions using ReactJS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.Work with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and develop software solutions to meet those requirements.Create clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and functionality.Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.The ideal candidate can create their own technical specifications and understand discussions with the lead architect and domain experts. You are not someone who needs to be given technical coding directions before understanding the task at hand.
