The successful candidate for this position will be an accomplished software engineer interested in everything cloud. If you enjoy variety and working with cutting-edge technologies, then this position is for you. You will be involved in all stages of the lifecycle and serve as a member of our software and cloud team responsible for designing and developing a variety of different types of solutions across multiple projects. These solutions may include some combinations of cloud computing infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. As a valued contributor to our team your responsibilities will include:Collaborative brainstorming and problem-solving to define requirements, objectives, and potential solutions;Developing and testing solutions from inception to deployment in the intelligence and defense communities;Testing and maturing your solutions with new ideas and customer feedback as part of an agile team.

Mid-level Software Engineer Position Requirements

U.S. citizenship requiredEligibility to apply for and hold a US security clearance (selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements at the time of employment)BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or a closely related field with 5-7 years of relevant work experience OR MS with 3-5 years of relevant work experienceTeam player with excellent communication skillsRelocation to Raleigh, NC or San Antonio, TX; this position involves minimal travel for collaboration with customers and partnersWilling to work on-site as needed in Raleigh, NC or San Antonio, TX; this position includes some work not able to be performed remotely

Mid-level Software Engineer Preferences

Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Salt)Experience with one or more programming languages (Python, Go, Rust, Java, C++, etc.)Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
