Physician Assistant - JOB TITLE (#24980): Physician Assistant | Skilled Nursing Facility | Part-Time - Basking Ridge, NJ
Must have experience in a long-term care setting.
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to fill an opening with a Skilled Nursing facility located in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
Requirements of the Physician Assistant:
Must have an active NJ state license.Must have experience in a long-term care setting.Must have experience working with Pointclick Care (EMR).
Benefits of the Physician Assistant:
The salary for this position is $72 | hr.
Schedule of the Physician Assistant:
This is a Part-time position.Monday & Friday.8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.12 week contract with possibility for renewal.Orientation consists of 1 day with nursing team (Paid orientation).
Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant:
Interview, examine, and diagnose patients' injuries and illnesses.Order and interpret diagnostic tests.Prescribe medications and suggest lifestyle changes.Stitch wounds, set bones, assist in surgeries, and administer immunizations.Review and maintain patients' medical histories and records and record patients' progress.Provide documentation for insurance companies.Educate and counsel patients and their families.Research the latest treatments, innovations, advances, and trends in the medical industry.Conduct or participate in outreach programs, make house calls, and visit nursing homes to treat patients.
