JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a member of the Risk Management team, the CCR Project Management & Reporting (CPMR) team is responsible for providing support to the CCR team by taking the lead on projects, daily reporting, and ad-hoc issues.

The CPMR team allows the CCR team to focus on its main task of conducting credit analysis on a portfolio of Member firms and other counterparties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Surveillance/Reporting — overseeing the production and review of daily surveillance emails and tracking workflows to completion (negative news, vendor risk management, etc.)

Assist with data collection and reporting on Key Risk Indicator (KRI) and Risk Tolerance metrics for credit function.

Monitoring the Receipt of Financials, including sending reminder emails of upcoming deadlines or late financials, saving financials to SharePoint, and facilitating fines, waivers, or extensions for late financials.

Review regulatory reports for organizational changes and notifications.

Analyze various external systems/tools for aggregation of negative news alerts.

Aggregate data for internal/external reporting for audit inquiries.

Risk Technology (RT) — act as the point person for CCR with AD, Business analysts, and PM (Project Management) on credit deliverables.

Partner with the credit team to understand and prioritize deliverables to ensure they meet the needs of the CCR team, meeting any audit or regulatory requirements.

Analyze financial metrics and external vendor feeds used to develop internal monitoring processes.

Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.

Knowledge of financial statement analysis for various financial institutions, particularly banks and broker-dealers.

Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel applications and VBA macro programming. Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is beneficial.

Fundamental credit analysis skills.

Understanding of regulatory rules and regulations.

Experience in working with new technological initiatives and setting forth business requirements.

Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
