Our advanced teams of product leaders, data scientists, consultants, and engineers enable us to meet the business goals of our internal and external clients.Team OverviewAnnalect DevOps is directly responsible for the 24x7 monitoring and maintenance of the Annalect platforms, working closely with technology leadership, and are ultimately responsible for ensuring technology quality and security. The DevOps team is the final ownership line for all clouds.Position OverviewAnnalect is looking for a DevOps Engineer to work in our Cloud based environment. The DevOps Engineer will be directly responsible for the 24x7 monitoring and maintenance of the Annalect platforms, working closely with technology leadership, and be ultimately responsible for ensuring technology quality. This individual must have a proven track record of success managing/working in a functional and technical team with a strong sense of quality ownership for existing and new cloud-based platforms and features. This is a hands-on position that requires strategic thinking and planning to provide expertise throughout the entire infrastructure and operational lifecycle, ensuring the success of the team's planning, building, operating, optimizing and automation efforts. This senior team member will provide mentorship and coaching to DevOps engineers and other technology team members.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the cloud infrastructure for Development, Test, and Production environmentsCommunicate with the product development teams in several geographical locations to produce requirements for infrastructure, networking, and operations toolsets necessary to provision and maintain product linesReview and establish best practices for CI/CD solutions in collaboration with teamsProvision and set up all environments (Live, Staging, Dev, QA) and coordinate with teams to ensure environments meet company standards and best practicesPerform release and configuration managementAct as a technical delivery resource for project specific tasksBuild and maintain the core technology platform monitoring servicesBuild and maintain automated deployment of the platform’s cloud infrastructureBuild and maintain secure continuous deployment pipelines and automate continuous security monitoring and alerting using cloud capabilitiesHelp with threat assessment and penetration testing as early as necessary/possibleHelp identify problem points within the production environmentSolve day-to-day operational problems with the production environmentEnsure robust, stable, and secure back-end infrastructure to support product portfolioSupport the development team during application enhancementsContribute to Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery designStay up to date with industry trendsRequired Skills And QualificationsProven working experience as part of an agile operation or development teamProven experience with at least one of the following: AWS, GCP, Azure Cloud PlatformsLeverage cloud capabilities for network security, data security, and encryptionProficient in developing automation mechanisms for continuous build and integration activitiesProficient in supporting large multi-tier infrastructure environmentsEnsure the security of IaaS/PaaS architectures, with good understanding of Web Application securityWorking knowledge of isolation tools, i.e., DockerWorking knowledge of Windows/Linux Systems AdministrationScripting ability – PowerShell, Python, Bash etc. (Basic Scripting skill)Good understanding of .NET ecosystem and build tools (optional)Knowledge of Git/BitbucketExperience with Bamboo/JenkinsProducing good technical documentation skills, UMLTeam player, who is levelheaded and considers the impact of their actions on othersStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environmentGood communication and documentation writing skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsMust be self-motivated and highly organized3+ years of Experience Working on Cloud Platforms. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
