Summary:The Microsoft Developer will work with all areas of the Huntington Community Impact Capital (CIC) business to enhance credit compliance monitoring, financial forecasting capabilities, and management of low-income housing tax credit, historic tax credit, and new markets tax credit investments, as well as the state equivalents of each of these. Each credit type has its own compliance nuances, each of which must be documented and controlled. This position will be responsible for designing and implementing tools to identify, track, and manage all compliance issues with each credit. A primary focus of this role will be to meld the use of existing bank systems (for cost savings), Investor Central (for tracking elements unique to tax credits), and additional tools (for usability).This position will report to the Director of Tax Credit Lending and Investing. This position will be responsible for:60% Deploy full suite of Office 365 Enterprise tools to implement systems to assist the business line in developing efficient work processes/procedures. Tools include Power BI, Power Query, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Teams. Facilitate integration/incorporation of CIC processes and procedures into bank’s technical ecosystem.25% Maintain and develop Excel tools used to project investor yield, underwrite transactions, and project future tax benefits. Ensure all regulatory limitations are appropriately captured, accounting conventions properly applied to depreciation and capital account schedules, and underwriting criteria are properly coded.10% Design import/export tools to/from Excel to facilitate fund sales analysis that properly accounts for upper/lower tier ownership structures, capital account allocation, and disposition analysis. Also to automate tracking of variance analysis.5% On an ad-hoc basis, assist asset management and other groups in data related backfill and/or data gathering initiatives.Limited travel.Please note: Preferred locations are St. Louis, Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus or Chicago but also open to remote.Basic Qualifications

SharePoint Development ExperienceStrong knowledge of Power BI and DAX analysis languageStrong knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications and Microsoft applications integrationStrong knowledge of PowerApps and other Microsoft Office platform toolsStrong Excel skills, including Power Query and Data Model CapabilitiesTechnical aptitudeBachelor’s degree from accredited university. Finance, accounting, or business degree or background preferredPreferred Qualifications
