Pediatric-NP - We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) part-time 3 days per week to join our team of healthcare professionals. The PNP will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary and acute care to children and adolescents, including physical exams, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, and management of chronic conditions. The PNP will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best care possible for patients.
Location: Wayne, NJ
Hours Of Operation:
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary and acute care to children and adolescentsPerform physical exams and diagnostic tests, such as lab tests and imaging studiesDiagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries in children and adolescentsManage chronic conditions, such as asthma and diabetesCommunicate with patients and their families to provide information, answer questions, and address concernsCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best care possible for patientsPrescribe medications and manage medication regimensProvide education and counseling on child and adolescent health and wellness
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing, with a focus on PediatricsCurrent Nurse Practitioner licenseStrong knowledge of pediatric primary and acute care, including diagnosis and treatmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
