The Product Analyst II/Senior Product Analyst works independently to support commercial lines and corporate initiatives. Working directly with business and technical partners, including third parties, on assigned projects, they are the business lead for all project phases, from requirements through implementation. They lead initiatives and align strategic goals and objectives to drive decisions and recommend solutions to support business needs.

They collaborate effectively with business and IT management to deliver key business initiatives. They will act as coach and mentor to other product analysts to develop analysis skills and business process knowledge to successfully implement business deliverables. Candidate will be hired based on appropriate level of experience.

Key Responsibilities:Maintains a deep understanding of the working knowledge of the CL organization and business systems in which they supportWorks with business leaders and IT to assess current capabilities and create quality requirements using the solutions appropriate for both the agent and businessAnalyze complex statutory, regulatory and industry issues that affect commercial linesReview and understand company data to monitor performance, trends and identify emerging issuesIndependently research, provide recommendations, test and implement solutions to complex technical or product problems or procedures Initiate and test procedural and system changesLead and facilitate requirements gathering and filings that result from new initiatives. This includes peer review on requirements and filings of othersSupport the filing process for respective projects and assignmentsParticipate in company-wide projects as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will act as product owner for both traditional or agile software development life cycle projectsCollaborate with others to develop strategies and best practices for successful project implementationSupport continuous improvement by gathering and incorporating successes and lessons learned into best practices and future enhancementsBuilds strong relationships and trust with stakeholders and acts as liaison conveying needs/constraints to appropriate partners. Incorporates business vision into successful completion of corporate objectives.Research and analyze competitor information and industry trends on products, guidelines, rules and procedures and report findings with recommendationsLead and attend meetings as department liaison with regard to coverage, procedural and system issue. Communicate appropriate and timely status updates to management and business teams Support management with vendor relationships by reviewing contracts/addendums and keeping progress on track.May be a point person for specific assigned vendor or vendors.Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with stakeholders of all types across the companyCommunicates difficult or sensitive information Leads and mentors team members by being a vocal leader in support of CL initiative deliverablesConducts themselves with transparency and manages own developmentKey Requirements:Bachelors Degree and 4 plus years experience.Experience with commercial lines as an underwriter, product analyst, business analyst or other relevant experience.Effective and diplomatic communication skills.High level of attention to detail.Strong analysis skills and problem solving ability.Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines products and procedures.
