Citi's PBWM Technology (PBWMT) organization serves the PBWM global suite of products providing a full range of innovative and comprehensive set of services. Our businesses also offer industry-leading advanced technology, a strong worldwide presence, and a powerful global franchise.The Senior Solution Architect is a strategic professional who closely follows the latest trends in their field and adapts them for application within their job and the business. Typically, a small number of people within the business provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.Responsibilities:

Provides architectural vision for all IT systems, including those that support Internet applications, ensuring that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints.Develops architecture, strategy, planning, and problem-solving solutions on an enterprise level.Interfaces across several channels, acting as a visionary to proactively assist in defining direction for future projects.Maintains continuous awareness of business, technical, and infrastructure issues and acts as a sounding board or consultant to aid in the development of creative solutions.Depending on project scope, may be accountable for end-to-end results including budgeting, policy formulation, and providing future state technology strategies for an effort.Interfaces with vendors to assess their technology and to guide their product roadmap based on Citi requirements.Exhibits in-depth knowledge of how their specialization contributes to the business and has a good understanding of the commercial environment.Provides thought leadership in subjects that are key to the business.Requires sophisticated analytical thought to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations.Impacts the technology function through contributions to technical direction and strategic decisions.Uses developed communication skills to negotiate, often at higher levels.Performs other job duties and functions as assigned.Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:

10+ years relevant experience.Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.Management and prioritization skills.Ability to develop working relationships.Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities.Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.Self-starter with the ability to take the initiative and master new tasks quickly.Methodical, attention to detail.Deep understanding of business processes and taxonomy in the Cards Servicing domain. Also, understanding of products and applications that can serve these processes.Ability to make build vs buy decisions for software products. Ability to review competing products and pick the most optimal for Citi's needs with well-documented justifications.Experience in API design/development including underlying technologies, Domain-Driven Design, and micro-services development (SpringBoot, Eureka, Zuul, Resilience4j, node.js).Advanced understanding of AI/ML and LLM.Understanding of, and ideally experience with, cloud hosting providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and Open Shift) and containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).Experience in Agile methodology.Experience in Architecture governance such as IT Strategies, Technology and Application Roadmaps, Application Portfolio Management, Technology Standards Management, and API Governance.Experience in or understanding of Business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning technologies.Deep understanding of application architecture methodologies, standards, and patterns.Education:
