About Our Team

The Software Engineers on our team are owning and performing Security Assurance workflows and facilitating useful and lightweight processes that allow our developers to better deliver trust to our customers and the company. We are seeking an individual who is as passionate about security as they are about people! You will play an integral part in delivering engineering solutions, mentorship, and remediations to engineering teams. This role entails driving efforts to replace repetitive tasks with automation as well as aggregating service-level risk up to form a comprehensive product-level assessment.Impact - Responsibilities

Practice and deliver secure by default solutionsThrive in new technologies and environments always seeking deeper understanding and continued learningDesign, develop, and implement security controls and tools that improve the defense of Salesforce infrastructure servicesInfluence and collaborate with a team of engineers in an agile environment to deliver various automation and data delivery solutionsFollow a value-driven approach for the delivery of features and products in a regular sprint cadenceTake initiative to identify problems, provide solutions and proactively share knowledgeWrite quality code, including writing Unit and UI Automated testsDesire to work in a constantly evolving environment and support the needs of a wide array of needsMinimum Qualifications:

BS or MS in a Computer Science or Engineering-related subject area, or 5+ years of experience in Security AssuranceProven teamwork and multi-functional collaboration skills, including customer serviceDeep understanding of object-oriented programming and experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Javascript, C#, Python)Required Qualifications:

Shown experience working with stakeholders to determine needs and solve engineering problems in SecurityValidated experience with test automation and continuous delivery/deployment: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing, CI/CDAbility to build applications, deploy them to an environment, integrate with other services and systems, and debug issuesProven understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, and/or AjaxValidated experience in Database technologies such as SQL and relational database schema designExperience in automated testing including unit and functional testing using Java, JUnit, and Selenium.Excellent communication skills and building relationshipsStrong candidates will have worked with some of these and/or similar technologies:

Java, Python, Spring, React, Salesforce SOQL and Apex, Scala, REST, Heroku, AWS, GCPPreferred Qualifications:

Experience in UI beneficial but not a mustDevelopment experience in AWS (experience with Azure, Alibaba, GCP is a plus)A passion for improving security, systems, and processesAccommodations
