As a recognized industry leader in contingent workforce solutions and Certified as a Great Place to Work, we're proud to partner with some of the most admired Fortune 500 brands in the world.Job Title: Software EngineerDuration: 10+ monthsLocation: 100% Remote-Palo Alto, CA & San Francisco, CAPay Rate: $40-$45/hr. on W2Job ID: 23-02088Job Responsibilities:Develop and maintain APIs that will be used to configure metrics, alerts, and other such telemetry at large scale.Developing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.Writing microservices on containerization frameworks such as Kubernetes and Docker.Resolving complex technical issues and driving innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance.Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available.Required Skills:A related technical degree required.4+ years of backend software development experience.Deep knowledge of programming in Java, Golang, or Python.Experience owning and operating multiple instances of a critical service.Experience with Agile development methodology and Test-Driven Development.Experience building applications on AWS or GCP (public cloud).Knowledge about Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform.Experience with Agile development methodologies, pair programming, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD).Excellent communication skills.Desired Skills:Experience with critical infrastructure services including monitoring, alerting, logging, and reporting applications.Experience with data engineering, data pipelines or distributed systems.Experience with distributed systems concepts such as scalability, fault tolerance, and load balancing.
