Crystal Run Healthcare , part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a dedicated, patient-centric full-time Endocrinologist to join our growing team in the New York suburbs of West Nyack, NY (i.e., Rockland County).

Position Highlights:
Fellowship-trained, physician-led, patient-centered team-based care environment.Educate and empower your patients to take ownership of their health.Opportunities for growth and development.Stability of an established, reputable practice within a collegial multispecialty group with an exceptionally large referral base of over 400 local providers.Direct support staff and teams to assist with patient care and workflow.Autonomy and independence in practice, including a strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospital(s).Desirable Monday - Friday schedules during normal business hours that promote work-life balance.Manageable and equitably shared rotating on-call support and local inpatient rounding.Patient census - adult focused (ages 18+).New grads are welcome to apply!
Position Responsibilities:
Investigate, diagnose, and treat full range of endocrine system disorders.Comprehensive services for the diagnosis and treatment of all thyroid disorders.Consult with patients about the status of their endocrine health.Start your days in state-of-the-art, multi-specialty outpatient offices and finish your days rounding at the local hospital.Order tests and interpret results to determine the best treatment options.Maintain appropriate medical records and results.Proficiency / comfort with thyroid biopsies highly preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of accredited relevant fellowship training program(s).BC in Endocrinology and any additional relevant Endocrine sub-specialties.Unrestricted New York State Medical License (or ability to obtain).Current New York State DEA certificate (or ability to obtain).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency / comfort with thyroid biopsies highly preferred but not required.
