The Seed round was led by Bling Capital, a prominent fund in Silicon Valley.We have a growing team of 20+ employees. Founders are repeat founders, former senior engineers from Uber, Stanford MBA, and ex-Plug & Play.You'll be part of a small team that moves fast, values transparency and ownership, and focuses on making an impact.You'll have the opportunity to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality software.Customer logos include GoodEggs, ByteApp (YC/Floodgate backed), ReserveBar, NomNomNow (sold to Mars for 1 billion $), Trustwallet, and others.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and scaling our infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and performance of our platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, familiarity with GCP, and possess strong infrastructure engineering skills.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure on AWS and GCP.Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment processes, automate workflows, and improve system performance.Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.Monitor system health, performance, and security, implementing improvements as needed.Lead efforts in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.Ensure robust logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions are in place and effective.Drive the migration strategy from AWS to GCP, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.Qualifications:Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS and familiarity with GCP.Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.Proficiency in managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and process improvement.Knowledge of network protocols, security best practices, and cloud architecture.Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and analytical approach.Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.Knowledge of security practices and compliance requirements in cloud infrastructure.Cultural Fit:Ownership: Takes responsibility for projects and delivers high-quality results.Independence: Works well with minimal supervision and takes initiative.Code Quality: Committed to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Resourcefulness: Able to find innovative solutions to complex problems.Team Work: Collaborates effectively with team members and contributes to a positive team culture.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Opportunity to work with a passionate and driven team.Professional development opportunities and continuous learning.Location:Sunnyvale, California - till September.San Mateo, California - after September.In-Person, at least 3 days a week from the office.How to Apply:If you are excited about the opportunity to work at Kodif and meet the qualifications above, we would love to hear from you.
