Our products encourage more people to participate in the TikTok ecosystem and allow users to enjoy more informative and diverse content. You will be able to design, implement, and ship new product experiences that will deliver fun and joy to millions of TikTok users.As an Android Software Engineer on the Photo and Text team, you will:Work closely with our talented backend and product team to develop and ship new, innovative user features on TikTok.Collaborate with the design and product teams to create a world-class mobile experience.Optimize mobile applications on Android platforms.Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work in a rapid environment.QualificationsBS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors/experienceExperience in native Android developmentProficiency in Java and/or KotlinAbility to understand and debug large and complex codebasesGood team communication and collaboration skillsTikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.Our company benefits are designed to convey company culture and values, to create an efficient and inspiring work environment, and to support our employees to give their best in both work and life.
