Write state machines and control software to control instruments, acquire data, and process data to generate reports.Develop and integrate GPT/AI-based improvements for all applications!Together with the entire project team, ensure visibility of the project at various levels of the organization.Build backend services using microservices paradigms and support front-end Web UI based development.Keys To SuccessEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar; MS preferred.Experience5+ years of direct industry software experience building applications for data acquisition, scheduling, workflow management, or similar.Proven track record of software development in C# and/or Java, SQL Database design of medium to large databases.Strong analytical acumen. Strong team spirit, extremely good with verbal and written communications in English.Willingness and ability for international and domestic travel (up to 15%).Lab experience with LC-MS workflows, software, and systems is helpful.Experience with distributed/networked systems and instrument control, either from a technical or a usage perspective, would be a plus.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesStrong and demonstrable software design, Object-oriented practices, sharp and hands-on coding skills in various languages like C#/Java, C++, Python. Understanding of distributed software, ideally in scientific environments.Very good knowledge of Web-enabled and Cloud-hosted software technology.Solid understanding of Azure DevOps source management, Confluence for knowledge sharing, Office tools.Proficiency in English as a written and spoken language; communication with clarity and precision with team members, leadership, and peers.Knowledge of web development languages like Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like Vue, React, or similar is greatly helpful.Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
