Adult Telepsychiatry Just 1 Hour East of Raleigh - Academic Faculty Position
Award-winning healthcare system in Eastern NC is recruiting BC/BE Adult Psychiatrists to serve as full-time faculty psychiatrist position providing clinical services, predominantly via telepsychiatry, to patients presenting in the emergency departments of hospitals affiliated with the program. The Telepsychiatry program will be expanding to over 80 hospitals across NC. Candidate will provide services located in Greenville, NC at the outpatient clinic.
The Psychiatrist will spend most of their time providing direct clinical service and report to the Medical Director of the Center. This position will emphasize a leadership role and an active engagement in clinical, educational, and scholarly activities. The position requires 2 years post-training experience in providing telepsychiatry services and in emergency psychiatry. Salary and academic rank (tenure track or fixed term) commensurate with experience and academic background.
