The roleWorking as an Assistant in our design-driven company is an opportunity to step into other roles with focused training and development and a passion for the design we share in our showroom. The ideal Design Sales Assistant candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, a self-starter, and someone with the ability to multi-task in a high volume and rapid-paced sales environment. Candidates who have completed formal Design Education Programs are preferred. Multi-lingual candidates are also preferred.

Essential duties and responsibilities

:Coordinates materials such as images, samples, and pricing information for client presentations.Distributes daily internal/external mail and overnight packages, sends and distributes faxes and sales literature.Maintains library of vendor products.Prints stock reports.Tags merchandise on showroom floor.Follows up with correspondence, thank you letters, and mail invoices.Maintain client records when necessary.Answers phone calls and directs to appropriate personnel.Keeps showroom neat and orderly at all times.Orders office and kitchen supplies when needed.Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Education and/or experienceAssociate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Design background is preferred.
