Job SummaryWe are actively seeking a dynamic Technical Business Development Manager / Customer Success Manager who thrives in a hunter role, adept at diving deep into the healthcare market to uncover and capitalize on unmet needs, emerging trends, and new business opportunities. This strategic position is essential for driving our growth in Flex’s design and engineering services within the medical devices, medical equipment, and pharmaceutical delivery system sectors, focusing on identifying new logos and fostering robust peer-to-peer relationships with R&D departments. This person can be located within the United States, remote.

What a typical day looks like:

Lead the charge in understanding market dynamics, customer needs, and emerging trends. Use this knowledge to identify customers’ priorities, goals, and challenges.

Proactively identify and pursue new logos (customers) in line with Flex Health Solutions sales strategy and develop new strategic alliances with such key customers.

Penetrate R&D organizations of clients to identify and win design and development opportunities.

Position as a trusted advisor who understands the customer’s technical and business challenges.

Be in charge of qualifying new customers, developing relationships and business with them, achieving pipeline and bookings results according to assigned individual and team targets.

Nurture and expand established client relationships to generate additional pipeline and bookings.

Collaborate with the commercial team and other functional departments to develop and execute comprehensive account plans.

Build loyalty to ensure long-term partnerships focusing on Customer Lifetime Value.

Tailor and present innovative, technical solutions that address the specific needs of clients.

Manage the development of detailed proposals to win and expand business engagements.

Craft appropriate, customized value propositions that address the customer’s needs/challenges.

Maintain in-depth understanding of programs that are underway within the business unit.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; an MBA is preferred.

At least 8 years of experience in a business development role within an engineering services industry, with substantial exposure to medical product development.

Direct technical experience in medical product development highly preferred.

Strong hunter mindset, with a proven ability to uncover and develop new business opportunities in complex and competitive environments.

Deep understanding of the healthcare market, specifically in medical devices, medical equipment, and pharmaceutical delivery systems.

Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers.

Proficiency in strategic selling techniques and in using tools like Microsoft Office to analyze data and prepare impactful presentations.

A strong track record of successful new business acquisition and the development of long-term client relationships in the healthcare sector.
