Senior Associate, IT Investments/Hedging Data EngineerLocation:
Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)What You Will Do:Provide support for daily hedging to implement both strategic and tactical solutionsDevelop Python code for models and quantitative analysisLeverage AWS serverless technology (Lambda, API GW, Glue) to provide cloud-based solutionsIngest and analyze new/existing data sets related to asset "greeks", derivatives, hedging, volatility, market data.Design and implement data processing (ETL, ELT) and data approval workflows.Engage with market data vendors to coordinate secure data transfers.Provide data visualizations/dashboards, workflows and low-code screens using the Microsoft Power PlatformWhat You Will Have:Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science or EngineeringExperience with Investment Accounting systems (Clearwater, Aladdin, etc.) and enterprise Market/Ratings/Analytics data (Bloomberg, Factset, Numerix, Moodys, Refinitiv, etc.)Minimum experience of two years in programming (Python and/or R)Experience in building cloud-based data solutions in AWSProficient in SQL, NoSQL, Big Data and advanced querying methodsRobust knowledge of data lakes, data governance and modern data quality techniquesPrior knowledge and experience in the fintech, investment banking or insurance industryExcellent analytical, problem solving and conceptual skillsStrong verbal and written skillsSalary:
The base salary range for this role is $100,000 — $110,000 USD, commensurate with candidate experience.
