The Salesforce Project Manager will work closely with project teams of up to 30 to implement Salesforce solutions in higher education and advancement. Implementations often include multiple workstreams, such as core CRM, Marketing Cloud, CRM-Analytics, and Integrations and may span multiple years. This role is critical to the success of the team and the overall project, serving as a key project team leader and client partner.Job Description/Responsibilities

Manage complex projects with multiple workstreams through the project lifecycle, from initiation through deployment.Create comprehensive project plans using project management tools, such as Smartsheet, and manage project teams, both Huron and client teams, to the project plan.Standup and enforce project and work tracking practices leveraging tools such as Azure Dev Ops or JIRA that align with practice standards and drive productive teams to deliver against user stories and requirements.Maintain a core set of project reports, creating additional reporting as needed, that can be used by project leadership and teams to drive decision making, identify risks and ensure project success.Proactively identify project risks and issues, surfacing them to project leadership quickly, and drive development of risk mitigation strategies.Manage internal and external project resources in alignment with the project’s scope, including working with Huron resource management to identify additional resources as needed.Manage external clients including, at minimum, the facilitation of a weekly status meeting reporting out on project progress.Support calendaring of project meetings, both internally and with the client.Ensure effective project onboarding, documentation, and training are available as new team members join projects.Manage the project control processes, including task management, RAID, scope/change control and quality control.Maintain project budget and forecasting, providing analysis, risk identification, and timely invoicing.Facilitate and advise on best practices in change management, project management, testing and training, as the scope of the project dictates, which may include development of additional collateral such as templates, presentations, and trainings.Assist with internal initiatives, including improving current project methodology and templates.Ability to travel as needed to client site (not to exceed 50%).Relevant Skills And Experience

5 years of related experience, including Salesforce implementation experience, preferably in higher education or advancement.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.Skilled in the use of project management tools for project planning and work management. Smartsheet, Azure Dev Ops, and JIRA experience preferred.Experience managing teams in a fast-paced and high-performing environment, including coaching and mentoring junior team members.Experience managing and building relationships with key stakeholders.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Project management certifications preferred (i.e., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum).The estimated base salary range for this job is $145,000 - $170,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $166,750 - $212,500. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
