This role specifically focuses on Elastic Path, which is an e-commerce tool used to create products/SKUs/promotions and similar components. We are looking for someone who not only knows how to use the tool to create these but also to add customizations to the tool for any components that our application may need. To develop these, one would have to know how Elastic Path works in order to program in Java for those customizations implemented.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need6-8 years Java programming experience4+ years Elastic Path experienceHas created and deployed serverless servicesWorking knowledge of the following:Elastic PathJava MicroservicesAWS (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, Kinesis, ELK, RDS)GIT/GithubCI/CD (Concourse and Jenkins)DockerDatabase systems: PostgreSQL, MongoDB/DocumentDB, RedisMust have excellent communication skillsExperience working in an Agile, scrum-based teamExperience writing unit & integration testsPreferred SkillsUnderstanding of GraphQL APIsExperience working with Asyncio style applicationsExperience performing code reviews and responding positively to feedbackExperience using Pylint and code coverage measuresMust be self-motivated with a drive for knowledge and innovation.
