We believe that great innovation comes from great transparency.Role Description:As a Carrier Manager at ShipBob, you will be primarily responsible for managing carrier relationships (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc) to ensure packages are flowing efficiently and customers receive their shipments on time.What you’ll do:Establish and manage carrier performance tracking and improvement initiatives.Manage Carrier Analyst responsible for daily operations.Identify coverage or service gaps in carrier portfolio and evaluate prospective carriers.Identify bottlenecks in carrier package flows and partner with carriers to improve service levels.Create processes and educate internal teams for continuous package flow.Identify trends in service disruptions and work with carriers to mitigate issues.Own pick-up/drop-off master schedules with carriers.Support ShipBob freight specialists as needed.Identify additional reporting tools and requirements.Create transportation related SOPs as needed.Support ad hoc carrier requests.Additional duties as necessary.What you’ll bring to the table:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Project Management/Engineering.3-4 years of experience in ecommerce and shipping industry.Knowledge of major shipping carrier operations.Excellent computer and data skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of international shipping is a plus.Perks & Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision & Basic Life InsurancePaid Maternity/Parental Leave ProgramFlexible Time Off ProgramQuarterly Wellness Day401K MatchCompetitive Salary, Performance Bonus & EquityVariety of voluntary benefitsReferral Bonus ProgramAbout You:At ShipBob, we’re looking for people who embody our core values:Be
