Job Description:
Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., 5 days a week. Call and weekends required, 10 - 12 total days per month. NH medical imaging required. BLS required. ACLS required. RCIS or RT (R) required. Traveler must live greater than 50 miles from Dover, NH.
Cath Lab Tech (CV TECH) duties and responsibilities focus on giving patients timely care. Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), you will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitor the par level of all instruments and supplies. Participate in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and new staff training. Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience:
Previous experience or training in a Cardiovascular Lab; required.
Cardiovascular technician training program with an emphasis on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred.
BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and must maintain current.
Certified Cardiovascular Technician; CCPT (invasive emphasis), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), CCPT (invasive emphasis), preferred.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
