Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Director to join our team. As a Clinical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our organization, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in clinical leadership, a strong understanding of leading staff, and a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical oversight and guidance to a team of clinicians, therapists, and support staff.
Develop and implement clinical programs and policies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Develop and execute training procedures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients with complex needs.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate and detailed medical records, including documentation of patient treatment plans, progress notes, and medication management.
Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient outcomes and program effectiveness.
Develop and manage budgets for clinical programs and services.
Foster a culture of respect, inclusivity, and diversity within the organization.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in clinical care, particularly in the areas of applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, and patient care.
Qualifications
Master's in a relevant field, such as psychology, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
At least 3 years of experience in clinical leadership, preferably in settings that provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Strong knowledge of clinical documentation procedures.
Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, including autism and behavioral challenges.
Proven experience in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with medical records management and electronic health records (EHRs).
Strong commitment to patient care and a passion for promoting independence and self-advocacy.
