The Business Development VP is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy to drive increased revenue growth for the company.Responsibilities

Cultivate and build relationships with high level executives to become active within specifically targeted industries, driving sales and revenue growth.Identify, evaluate, and execute new business opportunities aligned with the company's overall strategy.Participate in and drive the development of strategic sales planning in alignment with maintaining positive client relations while ensuring profitable growth and success for ADROIT.Identify, develop, and cultivate new business opportunities.Develop strategic partnerships to create revenue generation opportunities for the company's products and services.Routinely track, monitor, and report the life cycle of leads, proposals, and negotiations to senior management, as well as projecting and reporting pipeline performance estimations.Collaborate with Operations; actively including client feedback and data, to appropriately evaluate account performance, identify areas of proposed refinement and improvement, while implementing solutions.Provide periodic updates on the progress of business development initiatives against the set strategic objectives.Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the business is fully compliant with regulatory requirements related to the marketing of products and services.Monitor brand visibility and ensure that market share targets are met.Assist in formulating and proposing standard/routine proposals in conjunction with senior management, team members, and various functional groups which align with the overall organizational strategy.Actively seek leads through cold calls, publications, trade show events, and various marketing tools securing those leads into clients.Participate, present, and promote ADROIT at trade shows, regional meetings, luncheons, and other industry events.Promote corporate image and act as the brand ambassador for the company.Utilize analytics tools to assess viable business development opportunities by leveraging internal and external data.Leverage emerging trends to find business development opportunities.Research customer needs and trends and use the information to inform the business and product development strategies.Assess market product competitiveness against the market and recommend strategies for winning in the marketplace.Demonstrate effective use of indirect influence techniques.Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide supervision to the Business Development department.Education, Experience & Abilities

Education/Training:

Master’s degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Business Administration from a four-year college or university is preferred, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience/Abilities:Ten (10) years of Business Development experience.Five (5) years of supervisory or management experience.Exceptional leadership and management skills. Strong financial and business acumen.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Excellent communication skills.Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices, ability to perform with minimum supervision and make decisions independently. Creative mindset to think out of the box strategies to gain customer attention. Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize workload, meet critical deadlines. Must be a team player.Must possess strong analytical skills.Detail-oriented with multiple tasks.
