This position is a hands-on role focusing on complex, ambiguous problem areas and innovative software initiatives in the EC2 Trust Infrastructure team within the AWS Compute & Networking organization. This role requires broad engineering competence and in-depth technical knowledge of control plane software development, DevOps roles, infrastructure tools, and distributed systems, as well as demonstrated experience in planning, organizing, refactoring, and conducting software development projects in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with Security Engineers, Sr. Software Developers, Principal and Distinguished Engineers throughout AWS to define the technical roadmap and follow through with world-class execution.The EC2 Trust Infrastructure team provides trust services for the EC2 substrate network. We architect, develop, and own tier1 services that act as the gatekeepers for the EC2 substrate network. These services provide state-of-the-art security and trust services right from ensuring supply chain security to secure boot to providing authentication and authorization services in the substrate. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
