We are currently looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead projects that support the core application offering for one of our customers. In this role, you will work with business development, engineering, and UX to set the vision, goals, strategy, and roadmap for your space - inclusive on metrics, weblab, clickstream, along with setting a strategy for UX for IoT Product. You will work directly with end-customers to identify unmet needs and build solutions that drive customer value. You will set high expectations for your product area, expecting a 5-star rating, consumer-quality application experience. You are inspired by current and future customers' use of technology, and you have an undying need to change their lives for the better. You thrive on the day-to-day collaboration with engineers, UX designers, business development, and other leaders in the business, reaching across team boundaries to make the right things happen. Finally, with your strong ownership bias, you have an infectious desire to continually improve how things are done.In this position, you'll do these things:
Lead the product vision setting, working-backwards product definitions, three-year planning, and successful delivery of new product features.Influence the roadmap of IoT Product and adjacent service offerings.Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories.Present the roadmap or individual features to customers, including at trade-shows and executive briefings.Bring services/features to market, including running Beta programs, collaborating with product marketing, working with industry analysts, etc.Basic Qualifications:
15+ years of experience as a product manager.15+ years of experience developing, defining, managing, and executing new products in a fast-paced environment.Experience taking ownership and driving results.Experience in financial modeling, for both cost and revenue.Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, MIS, or a related field.Preferred Qualifications:
20+ years overall high-tech industry experience.15+ years product management experience.Experience with SCADA systems and utility-grade device connectivity. Water utility experience preferred.Experience launching a consumer targeted mobile application.Experience launching a consumer targeted web application.Experience working with UX, Operations, Software Development teams to deliver products to market.Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent experience.Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role.Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role.Educational Qualifications:
Required - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.Preferred - Master's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.Travel:
