A strong scientific background and an advanced degree in the life sciences space (organic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmaceutical science, etc.) is required.
Outstanding writing and analytical skills - they will request a writing sample for those who qualify.
USPTO registration is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in:
Drafting patent applications, prosecuting patent applications in both US and foreign countries and territories.
Conducting patent landscape and freedom-to-operate searches.
Assisting IP due diligence in financing and partnering transactions.
