As a Senior Business Analyst/Product Analyst, you will provide essential support to USCIS software applications by leveraging Agile best practices and incorporating product development principles.Who We Are Looking For:
I am looking for a Senior Business Analyst/Product Analyst who is passionate about solving problems to create products and services that users love.Required Qualifications:
BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, or a related fieldUS Citizenship per contract requirementAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance3+ years of experience serving as a business analyst on software development projectsDemonstrated experience leading requirements gathering sessions, analyzing business flows, and documenting user needsExperience with JiraMust be willing and able to work EST hoursKey Responsibilities:
Business Skills:Provide detailed, comprehensive, testable, and traceable business requirements in a number of formats, including but not limited to:Collaborate with product owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to elicit and refine business requirementsWrite user stories, technical tasks, and acceptance criteriaElicit and articulate use cases and business rulesClearly communicate business processes at all levelsEnsure that business requirements are aligned with the overall product vision and strategyAgile Implementation Skills:Facilitate the team in following an agile development process, such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFeHelp the team to break down business requirements into smaller, more manageable tasksEncourage the team to use iterative and incremental development practicesRemove roadblocks and impediments to the team's progressProduct Analyst Skills:Support the product roadmap by aligning product iterations in a manner that supports the strategic visionPlan for and showcase value delivery for the business stakeholders with each iterationProvide subject matter expertise and consultation as necessitated by the businessConduct analyses necessary to support strategic development and decision-makingPreferred Experience:ServiceNow experienceUser Research ExperienceWhy You’ll Never Want to Leave:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plansFlexible Spending Account4% 401K Match (immediate vesting)Paid Time OffTuition reimbursement, certification programs, and professional developmentFlexible work scheduleOn-site gym and childcare optionFlex spending accountThe salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 to $115,000.NOTE:
