DescriptionFund Accountant ($75 - 80K compensation + Bonus)What's In It For YouCompensation of up to $80,000 based on experience10% BonusComprehensive benefits packageA company that values a healthy work-life balanceStrong opportunity for career advancementOur client has earned a reputation for integrity, creativity, and excellence, making it one of the premier real estate investment, development, and management firms in the northeast U.S. The office is located in Boston, MA with a team of 100+ professionals dedicated to real estate acquisitions, management, development, and other corporate functions.They have an opening for a Fund Accountant who will be responsible for controlling two of the three funds and doing investor reporting on a quarterly basis - producing financial statements.ResponsibilitiesRecord daily cash activity in Yardi accounting database utilizing IM module, if applicable.Execute treasury support for multiple Fund investments by processing transfers and wires in coordination with Portfolio and Development accounting teams and prepare bank reconciliations.Prepare daily capital call receipt reports and distribute them to management.Update work papers included in a quarterly package, as requested.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting.3+ years of public accounting and/or commercial real estate accounting experience preferred.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Well organized, accurate, thorough, and able to consistently meet deadlines with high-quality work products.Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.Yardi experience preferred.
