Basic QualificationsMajor in one of the following: Accounting, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar field with a graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026Strong command of at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++), specifically as it relates to the aggregation and analysis of dataPrior coursework or other experience in relational database management systemsPrior coursework or other experience in Tableau or Power BIPreferred QualificationsStrong command of Microsoft ExcelPrior coursework or work experience in Alteryx or Tableau PrepStrong analytical abilitiesExperience in, or a working knowledge of R, VBA, Snowflake, or Google Cloud Platform is a plusExceptional work ethic, high motivation, and a demonstrated ability and desire to collaborate with team members and client professionalsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsA demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and be a team playerAbility and desired willingness to travel when requiredStrong academic performance, professional achievement, and client service excellence (as applicable)ResponsibilitiesParticipate in buy-side and sell-side M&A diligence engagements and separate data-focused engagementsCommunicate directly with senior business executives and internal stakeholdersGather, evaluate, sanitize, and organize datasetsPrepare data workflows to clean and combine data from multiple sourcesPrepare data visualizations and dashboards to deliver key insightsGenerate insights on the drivers of business growth, profitability, and liquidityIdentify the key business risks and opportunities impacting business valuationBe willing to learn and train peers in the advisory practice on data analysis and visualization toolsContinuously develop industry knowledge and qualificationsAble to work on multiple assignments simultaneouslySalary RangeHoulihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:$70,000.00-$115,000.00Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as the service line and location where this position may be filled.
